Bio
I was born and raised in the part of Dallas, TX known as Oak Cliff(...that's my hood!). After high school I decided to leave everything I knew and attend a small liberal arts college in Southern California. Every day is a challenge, my beliefs are being constantly challenged and all the while I'm trying to figure out our hegemonic patriarchal society in order to one day be able to improve the lives of others.
This blog is my attempt to find my place between the here and there, my very own Aztlan, by exploring the music, politics, art, and everything else that interests me.
