Bio
Getting old is for the "Birds"! There really is no preparation for getting old, you just age. Now that I am three quarters of a century old, I look at how the world has changed; and I long for a simpler time in life.
Growing up, I was always exposed to politics; I thought that was something everyone was involved in. As a young adult I was a political activist. I and two other black women successfully sued the Denver Police Department for refusing to hire Black Women as officers.
As president of the West End Neighborhood Association, I led our organization in stopping a developer from building two buildings that would be a rooming house. The buildings would have housed over five hundred homeless men in our community.
As a Mortgage Loan Officer, I worked with low to moderate income borrowers; teaching them how to budget, save, money, and correct their credit so they could purchase a home.
I was also known as the FHA 203K Renovation Mortgage Loan expert.
