Bio
Hello my name is Lorraine and I hail from Manchester. I am currently a law studentin my final year at UCL and LSE.
Experiencing the challenges that first year had to offer, I decided to set up a blog. Mainly to keep up a passion (writing).
So I have two, one is this law blog (lifeofalondonlawstudent) charting a personal experience through law school. And mainly done to perhaps be able to make a difference in a future fellow law student’s academic journey, as I have been inspired by others before me. And to re-reinforce the fact that no matter where you study law whether that be here in the UK, America or South Africa, it is a truth universally acknowledged that law school can sometimes feel like The Hunger Games. Trust me the struggle is real and you are not alone.
And my second baby is this here blog (Raiine) made for my poetry, music, stories and photography.
I don’t usually like writing these ‘About You’ sections, because it always ends up sounding like a CV for some unknown job application. If anything, if you want to know more about me, you will find me within my work, and my words.
I just love words and the power that they can have, hopefully you will find elements you like in my writing, as I find in the works of others.
