Bio
I have been involved in many businesses for over 30 years. Some very successful ones and some that… well, some pretty big sink holes. There is a lot that I can offer to anyone who needs help in having the former and avoiding the latter.
The reason I am starting this blog is to hopefully gather a brain trust together from old soldiers like me to the fresh out of the gate world beaters! One thing I can’t stand about business is the feeling of isolation. Especially when you are the boss, and the fate of all rests in your hands. It’s good to know that there is someone, anyone out there who has been through the very path you are taking, and might just offer some sage advice that can save you a night’s sleep. Or even a million or two.
Many people over the years have asked me for all kinds of business advice, which I am so glad to offer. There have been some precious few mentors for me who have been completely invaluable. I only wish that I had more of them at an early age when I was feeling ten feet tall and bullet proof.
If there are any of you out there who have questions on any conceivable business matter, it’s probably a topic I will recognize as having been there and done that. However, I very much hope that others will chime in to this blog and offer advice as well. I cannot say that I am the last word on very much, but I have made a lot of money, and lost more than most people ever make, so I try and let people know that if I don’t have a good answer, I will defer to someone who does.
That is why I believe if we can spark a community of seasoned business pioneers willing to share there experiences both good and bad, it can truly make a difference in someone’s…. hopefully many people’s lives.
One thing I have found over and over again is that the hot dogs on business usually won’t share much. But they don’t last long at the top either. The truly successful people I have known, especially the Billionaires, are always ready and eager to share their invaluable experience with anyone humble enough to ask. And, virtually all of them have had mentors who poured themselves out freely to hand off the success to the next generation.
Are there any of you out there who want to give of your success? Are there any of you out there who need to get some real answers from someone who’s already been there and feel frustrated because everyone has an agenda or wants a big check first?
Please, jump in to this blog, and let’s see if we can show there is more to business than just trying to compete for a buck at any cost. I know that the more you get, the more you should give, and the more you give, the more you will get. That is a fact.
So here’s your chance. If you need advice, ask for it here for free. If you have experience in anything that is being asked for, give it for free and get the blessing that goes with it.
