Bio
Bob Blomeyer is an educational technology researcher, teacher educator and nationally recognized specialist on online teaching and learning policy and practice. He currently is working on a small business startup with business partner Greg Kearsley. Their new company is Online Teaching Associates Ltd. Bob is OTA’s President and Chief Technology Officer. He previously worked as a Senior Technology Researcher at the North Central Regional Educational Laboratory, now renamed Learning Point Associates. There he managed and contributed to research and development projects and program evaluations examining the integration of technology in education programs, meta-analyses examining “effects” from school and classroom technology use on students’ academic performance, online course development projects, and to new research examining online learning in mid-level and high school programs in public and private schools. He was co-editor of Case Studies on Computer Aided Learning with G. Dianne Martin (Falmer Press, 1991) and is co-editor with Dr. Catherine Cavanaugh on a new book entitled What Works in K-12 Online Learning; forthcoming from ISTE, December 2007.
