Bio

Facing down an early midlife crisis, Colleen moved from America to Japan in September 2013 to teach conversational English. This blog was meant to capture the journey -- and did for almost four years. She's now back in America, working through struggles of a close-up view of a post-Trump world, new adventures in ESL teaching, and finding her way with a broken compass.
