Bio
I am a Richmond native! My Mother grew up on Church Hill, and I grew up in the West End. (My Dad moved here from NYC when he was young, and spent most of his life in Richmond.)
I'm a product of Henrico County Public Schools: Crestview Elementary, Tuckahoe Middle and Douglas Freeman HIgh School. Richmond hold all of my childhood memories and I love it here.
After graduating from the George Washington University in Washington, DC., I began my career in broadcasting, that would last over 35 years! My first official radio job after college was as a Promotion and Marketing Director at WASH-FM. I also spent a year working at an advertising agency as an Account Executive, but missed the fast pace of radio, and moved to advertising sales at KIX-Country in Washington. I loved sales and marketing! Tailoring solutions to fit each business owner allowed me to incorporate my creativity and add to the joy I feel in making people feel good.
My natural gift, I call the "art of persuasion." propelled my sales career. and I was promoted to sales management. Before moving back to Richmond, my husband Gary Donohue and I spent three years in Denver, Co., but Richmond called me home! I missed the trees! I missed my parents. I also wanted my daughter, Mayme, to know her grandparents and for them to enjoy her for as long as possible. Luckily, my husband agreed to move back to Richmond!
So, in 1986, we moved back, after I was hired at WRXL-FM as General Sales Manager. My career in advertising sales management and general management would include 14 years with Clear Channel's WRVA/WRVQ/WRNL/WRXL. What great radio stations! In 1991, I was bless with my son Ben who also got to meet his grandparents!
In 2000, I moved to cable tv for three years running Comcast's advertising sales office here. In 2003, I returned to radio as Director of Sales and moved up to Vice President/General Manager for 4 successful radio stations WCDX/WKJS/WPZZ/WTPS until December 2014.

I've ALWAYS loved houses. Some people stop for Yard Sales. I stop for Open Houses!!! No matter where I am, even on vacation! After searching my soul for what I truly loved and wanted to do after radio, I embarked on a new career path in Real Estate sales, and this is where I intend to stay forever!
I love sales, because I get to learn about different people through your wants and needs. I want what you want. My passion for sales is a passtion for your success, whether you plan to buy a new home or sell a home. I will be your advocate. No one will work harder for you than I will. It's all about YOU. Your story. Your needs. Your move.
Let's face it, moving is hard. Every time I've moved, I swear it's the last time. So, believe me, I understand how stressful it is.
