Bio
Carole Mathews has been a faithful Christian since the age of 16. She has mixed her business development with a dedication to community service.
Born in Haiti, Carole came to the US at the age of 5 with her father and step-mother, her family settled in Jamaica, Queens where Carole attended Far Rockaway high school. Mrs. Mathews gave up a career in the media because it was getting in the way serving the Lord. Carole later married and heeded the call to be keepers at home serving her family and helping people in the community. Carole Mathews became very active in her children school by working in the PTA then becoming president of the PTA. Carole Mathews then joined the leadership team to help set policies for the school system. She has received a plaque for her service to the school. When Carole saw the need to home school her children for the next thirteen years she taught her kids at home. During those years Carole had a cake and cleaning business.
Mrs. Mathews is dedicated and very active to community service. She has help the elderly by taking them to the hospital with her kids in tow teaching them in the clinic while they wait for the appointment to be over, she clean houses for those who can’t, make calls for the elderly to solve Medicare/Medicaid issues, fills out form, ensure that they are eating. As far as the body Carole has dedicated herself to being servant to the church some members call her “sister background” because she does not desire the lime light or praise; she just likes to serve. Many times her family has spend a week in others home taking care of the brethren’s household while the sister’s in the hospital or home in bed recuperating.
Mrs. Mathews never forgot her love for the arts she has written children books, written songs, a play. She is currently working with the aid of another writer to write screen plays to produce and put in theaters nationwide. Carole Mathews realized that America needs to see a different model in the media that it can turn to. She wants to use the profits to fund The Jabez Center for Economic Development a not for profit center she created to help people become financially independent.
Carole Mathews is currently enrolled in college to obtain a B.S. Degree in Business and Administration. She works part time as a CNA she resides in Jamaica, Queens with her husband and three children.
