Bio
Jewell House Tribute website and blog explore my mother's career in Country music during the 1950s and '60s. She wrote songs for and worked with top recording artists such as Hank Williams, Webb Pierce and Red Sovine. She wrote for leading publishers in Nashville such as Acuff-Rose and Cedarwood. But she is obscure in Country music's annals. I am her oldest son, David. It is my hope that this website and blog will lift Jewell out of obscurity and offer some useful footnotes in Country music history for fans, historians and Jewell's family.
