Bio
My name is Renee, and I am a nanny. I am in my 30s, I am married to my best friend and the greatest supporter James. I am also a new mom to our wonderful little son, who is just the cutest little mess ever. I have worked since I was 10 with children and I love it. Although I am still not sure what I will do career wise it will envolve children. I have currently taken an Early Childhood credentials class, so I am certified for that- Fall 2010, and I just finished a semester of Early Childhood Education classes for Fall 2012. My major is Early Childhood Education. Ever since I can remember I have loved children, and have always enjoyed playing with my cousins when I was little, and now as an adult I get to do what I love as a nanny. I have been lucky enough to work in a variety of different settings, such as a mother's helper, babysitter, daycare, preschool, afterschool, and a nanny. I can't say I have a favorite age, I love them all. My favorite settings have been as a preschool teacher and a nanny, but as you well know both can have there pros and cons. I have a very supportive family and husband who I love very much. My mom passed away 3 years ago, and I really think I get my love of working with kids from her, she really enjoyed spending time with kids too. My husband James and I live in Rocky Mount with our 2 dogs Bella and Patches. Being a mom is one of my goals, and hopefully after completing school we will be able to achieve that one too. I am in no way a professional in any sorts, this blog was created so that I could just help other moms, nannies, childcare providers, and families. I will focus on different types of parenting things, pregnancy, educational areas of development, assessments, developmental areas, activities, lesson plans, recipes, and lots more. I hope you find this blog helpful, and that you enjoy it. I hope you read this blog and find it helpful, and not offensive in anyway.
