Bio
My wife and I have had quite the little journey through life thus far, and when I say journey, I mean joouurney. Both of us born in South Africa (yebo... that's Zulu), left to see the world in 2008, moved to Dubai in the Middle East (Yalla Habibi... Arabic). There we survived, and lived for 6 years, then on to the Gold Coast of Australia (mate... oh that's Australian Sheila), there for 2 years and finally arrived in the "land of the free, home of the brave", the good ol' U.S of A... Hollywood, Los Angeles first (hustle... Hollywood talk), now Austin, Texas (astoundingly better than you could imagine... ya'll). Job wise... Rachelle is a ridiculously talented dancer/choreographer, and I, well... jack of many trades, master of most... from radio and T.V presenter, to high performance driving instructor, to church leader theologian, screenwriter, and many many other little, sometimes hideous jobs along the way just to keep me humble I'm sure. No we're not millionaires, quit the contrary, all our moves have been on budgets found at the bottom of the barrel, and often we couldn't find the barrel, but I tell you one thing right now, for free, wealth is not found in money alone. Oh don't get me wrong, I am not, I repeat, not opposed to financial wealth, but there are better things to drive passion and purpose. All this moving around has been fueled by one desire... to live lives that count, not just for us, but for others. What we now find in our hands is a wealth of insight and experience gathered largely from people who have afforded us the privilege of speaking into their lives, situations, and struggles. In those stories we have seen the light of a loving God shine into conversations (usually 3 hour long coffee meetups where even Starbucks employees are rolling their eyes at us to leave), bringing great wisdom and fresh perspective, radically transforming lives.
