Bio
Since 2000, Matt has been in the trenches of student ministry believing students can love Jesus with all their heart and will change the world. He's served on staffs in small churches, large churches, and in para church youth ministries. Since March 2006 he's served as the high school pastor at First Baptist Woodstock, a multi-site church just outside of Atlanta, where he has the privilege of training and equipping hundreds of youth ministry volunteers on a yearly basis and leading a bold band of student revolutionaries. Matt is the author of TWISDOM as well as a contributing author to three other books. He's also the founder of StuminSidekick.com.Matt lives just outside Atlanta with his wife Laura, and kid Deacon (2009) and Eden (2010). In their free time, they enjoy sports, reading, and travel.
