Bio
Rian Cope is an Australian adventurer, filmmaker and photographer. He specialises in long-distance and endurance journeys across some of the world's most remote and inhospitable areas. With his remote film and photography experience, Rian is able to adapt his style to the needs of any project that comes his way.
In 2009, along with his fellow teammate, he produced a 4 part T.V. Series called Eat.Sleep.Surf. It continues to air around the world regularly featuring on The Nautical Channel, Outside TV, The Bike Channel and GloboSat across Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South America. Season two of Eat.Sleep.Surf aired in 2015.
Rian grew up in Dubai, in the U.A.E and currently reside's in Queensland, Australia. When not on expedition, you can find him working as a freelance adventure guide to guest's from around the world, showing them his incredible backyard. His extensive travel and personable skills complement each other when undertaking any task which has allowed him to work successfully with tourism bodies, tourism operators and a range of hotels and accommodations.
Rian is a self taught filmmaker and photographer, and continues to grow as an artist through inspiration found in surfing, the outdoors, travel and lifestyle subjects.
