Bio
I spent most of the five years between 1990 and 1995 studying and/or working in China. During that time, I put together a 'guide' of my experience as a Western businessperson, working for an American company based in Beijing and, later, running a small consultancy in the northwestern province of Gansu. I never thought about publishing my thoughts and observations, which at the time were simply entitled ‘The China Business Briefing’.
However, when I recently discovered that there is a difference between what I have to offer and what is currently available online about 'doing business in China,' I changed my mind. So I unearthed my notes and started this blog: ‘How NOT to Do Business in China.’
