Bio
I grew up at Nichols Garden Nursery in Albany, OR. Today, my husband Keane and I operate our family owned mail order seed company and herb nursery. I believe everyone can have the pleasure and satisfaction of growing some of the food they eat. I and Maggie Stuckey co-authored "McGee & Stuckey's The Bountiful Container; a complete guide to edible gardening in containers.I've also written Basic Herb Cookery and the lead chapter in My Mother's Garden. I speak nationwide about container and small space food gardening, seed starting, and herb gardening. I am an Oregon Master Gardener.
