Bio
I was born in Riga, Latvia, then at the age of two, moved to Jerusalem, Israel. Five years later, my family moved to the Chicago. After studying in college, then medical school, I spent a year doing public service in Israel. Medical school followed. During my third year, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I continued with residency in rehabilitation medicine. During the third year of residency, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). As my medical condition worsened, I left the training program. Since that time, I have enjoyed writing and participation in sporting activities.
