Bio
I’m a professional scientist and communicator, and have been working in higher education and geological research in Australia, the UK, and the USA for 18 years.
My chosen field is geology, and I live in the beautiful and dynamic city of Perth, Western Australia – recently ground zero for one of the most intense and dramatic mining booms in living memory - albeit fading now. But I mine not for gold or iron, but for information and understanding. I love my work and the opportunity it gives me to engage every day with intellectually curious and creative people from many walks of life.
