Bio
My name is Gill Roncarelli and until recently I was a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in JH and BA (Hon) Dance at the University of Cumbria. I left the university to focus on the Roncametrics program that I have been working on over the last 20 years in a quest to develop not only the perfect toning class, but a class that also nourishes the soul and focuses the mind.
For years I focused on the toning aspect of the course using Isometric, Pilates and body balance exercises with incredible results but the work still lacked spirituality.
When I left the university I went to India and Nepal to study Reiki, Shitasu massage, and completed my Yoga teacher training at the Nepal Yoga Home.
These philosophies have been introduced into the toning program and have in my opinion, filled the missing link. Physiotherapist Sophie Banks recently commented 'Roncametrics is the course that we have all been waiting for in the NHS. The teaching is so thorough it works on everybody; from a professional footballer to an absolute beginner. The focus on activating certain muscle groups whilst relaxing others is also great for dealing with stress and anxiety held in the body.
