Bio
When I was a college senior, I accepted an internship offered by a large real estate appraisal firm. That was 50 years ago. I haven't been far from real estate and finance since then. I have been primarily a real estate development loan officer with three large nationwide lenders. I have also appraised real estate, built as a general contractor, and currently perform as a construction inspector and monitor funding disbursements for banks (type of audit). Sometimes I consult with lenders regarding the "work out" of distressed loans. It's been a good gig.
I am still active. I enjoy development. Along the way, I wrote some columns about Rowlett and the Lake Ray Hubbard area for the Dallas Morning News. I served on several Rowlett municipal committees and served one term as a Rowlett City Councilman. I hold a Texas real estate license.
Real estate development is about all I know, however I spent some time learning to be a pretty good downhill skier and I'm still very active in sailing around the Caribbean Ocean whenever I get a chance.
Life is good.
