Bio
I am founder of the globally popular and respected ethical investing site, Investing for the Soul; I write the Enlightened Economics blog about a new economics integrating consciousness, natural law, and free-market theory; and am a paid financial and economics columnist for alrroya.com, a leading Middle Eastern business publication and portal.
Also, Bloomberg has me as an expert commentator on Islamic finance.
Beginning in 1969, I held investment industry positions in securities analysis, over-the-counter trading, and global private equity sales. During the 1990s, I was regarded as North America’s most successful marketer and instructor of the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique to financial executives.
My education includes business and spiritual studies at institutions of higher learning in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada and the United States. Among my many qualifications are an MBA degree and Honours standing in the Canadian Securities Course.
