Bio
I’m a Florida girl living in & loving Colorado. After studying nursing at the University of Florida, I attended graduate school at the University of Colorado, met my husband and started a family in Fort Collins. I’m mother to a fearless 13 year old girl, a tender-hearted 11 year old boy, an enthusiastic 1.5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog and an adopted (age unknown) very cool cat. After 20 years of cardiac nursing, I left the workforce this past year to be home full-time with my family. My days primarily consist of chauffeuring children, errand running, cooking, helping with homework & cheerleading. I volunteer at my kids charter school and actually like it. For kicks, I run marathons. I love photography & travel and am crazy about my dog. I like clean & simple systems that help life run efficiently. I have plans to get our home more organized this year as well as compile quick & healthy family-friendly recipes. I’ve never considered myself a writer so I’m hoping this blog will encourage me to document 2015 not just with photographs, but with words, as well.
