Bio
A bit of a nerd! A child at heart.
I grew up on the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne Australia, the youngest of three kids and the only girl. My family are awesome! Strong, supportive and understanding of my slightly crazy tendencies.
I love to dance, sing, eat (give me an antipasto platter and I'll mow through it like it's an olympic sport), yoga is a new love and one I'll hold firmly on to. I love musical theatre, random doco's, whisky, champagne (and cheese. Goes without saying really eh).
My friend family are a big part of who I am along side my family. And of course, my brilliant partner in crime, Chris. Toff (Christopher, Chris-toph-er, Toff).
We met performing in music theatre in the early 2000s, got together and moved overseas in 2004. We moved back home in 2006 (damn visa restrictions!), married in 2010 and bought our first house in 2012.
Notice I've not said anything about work yet...
Our journey has only just begun.
We sold the house and everything in it and made the choice to live. We got our life down to around 8 boxes and 4 bags and sold the rest. Furniture, most of our clothes, all of it. Kept the precious things.
I've let go of 15 years of corporate career to let my mind wander. To find something that I feel is fulfilling. I keep saying to people "I don't know what I want to be when I grow up." It's true, I still don't!
However, the decision we've made to let go... will help create some space for a little more craziness, adventure, to dance, to play, to laugh (to eat, ha!) and I figure it's probably worth writing down!
