Bio
Al Herrera, CEO of SOA LEGACY / Rupturian Enterprises / Bernal Films, is the creator of the Sci-Fi multi-media franchise “RUPTURIAN” that includes movies, videogames, books and toys. Rupturian incorporates the latest concepts of the STRING and BIG BANG theories, and of the RUPTURIAN VISION OF REALITY (RVR).
Albert Herrera (Alberto Herrera Guzman) studied Philosophy at the Universities of San Carlos in Guatemala and Navarra in Spain, and Mathematics at New York University, focusing on computer sciences. He has provided management consulting services in information technologies to major private and government institutions in North, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and the Far East, including Verizon, AT&T, JP Morgan / Chase, Bank of New York / Mellon, Bank of America, the General Services Administration / White House, and the Internal Revenue Service.
He worked close to a decade on projects with Verizon and AT&T related to the expansion of cellular networks around the USA, involving millions of subscribers. Out of his experience in telecommunications, he envisioned the cellular phones used in the Sci-Fi saga for human survival, Rupturian, where the cellular phones’ scope of action reaches the Local Group of Galaxies (Milky Way, Andromeda, and Triangulum), having several highly advanced capabilities. He envisioned our entrance into a new digital enlightenment age with the advances that will come with the 5G technology, including artificial intelligence and augmented reality.
With the advent of the Rupturian Sci-Fi concept, Al Herrera shifted his professional attention from providing consulting services in Information Technologies to the commercialization of the Rupturian franchise.
Rupturian represents the spirit of our time, our "zeitgeist". The Rupturian saga covers topics that will become natural in the next 50 years, like the engineering of human evolution, our immersion in a new digital enlightenment age with the global proliferation of smart phones, artificial intelligence and augmented reality, a better understanding of the origins of our universe, space exploration, and even soul (consciousness) transplantation from one body to another.
The Rupturian saga (eight films) starts with a mass extinction catastrophic event that puts us in contact with a highly advanced alien civilization, the Rupturians, includes our perils and advancements having access to their highly advanced technology, our biological improvements engineering our evolution, and our explorations into distant corners of the universe. It ends with a last call from Earth, just before its final destruction; humans as we are, we will end up destroying Earth. This is a very strong statement, and sad indeed!
