Bio

Just come back from Nepal. As a sociologist, I'm intrigued by the various discourses and practices through which humans negotiate life, birth and death. Observing the Hindu practices of farewelling loved ones on funeral pyres on the ghats of sacred rivers, has got me thinking about writing again, as a way of making sense of some of these issues for myself.
