Bio
Hi,
My name is Sammi Wyett, I am a 27 year old wife and mom. I have 128 college credit hours but no degree. I always dreamed of being a stay at home mom, but I work 50 hours a week at a 7-6 job. There are times that I get over critical of myself and tear myself down for not being the woman that I always dreamed I would be. But why? Who am I basing this off of? My husband and my son think I am doing a great job. So why am I so down on myself? Because I compare myself to the TV moms of the past and the Facebook posts of friends that only show the positive side of their lives. When will we as women stop comparing ourselves to other people and start believing in ourselves?
We as women and moms need to learn to be easier on ourselves. I feel as though in today's world there is so much pressure on women to not only be the best wife and mom, but to also be a dynamic business mogul. We are expected to work a full day and then come home, cook a delicious healthy meal, and keep a gorgeous and clean home. Don't get me wrong, there are women who do this. I give it up to those women, you are my hero! For me, juggling these three things has not come easy. I had to learn (and continue to learn) how to balance everything while maintaining my sanity. My mission with this blog is to help women realize their value and help them embrace and love the life they are in.
