Bio
I am a poet author runner, born in Guildford, Surrey in England in 1973. I have Irish heritage on my mother's side and my family on my father's side, from London. I grew up in the small Somerset village of South Petherton and now live with my partner, Rachel and two children, Samuel and Rosa just a stone's throw from the Mendip Hills in North Somerset.
I graduated in 1998 with a degree in social science at the University of the West of England and further to this completed a teaching diploma at London South Bank University in 2003. After many years of teaching I now work as a professional in mental health services in Bristol.
I have been writing poetry for over 20 years and regularly speak at pagan events across the country given my passion for ancient poetry and the classical / archaic Gods. In 2019 I had my first collection of poetry published. My work errs toward expressions of our own self-exploration, our own nature, and an embracing dialect with the Gods.
In 2012, having been a hobby cyclist for around 4 years, I completed a stage of the 2012 Tour de France as an amateur rider; the same year, my mother died and I also began running which has taken up so much of my time since as both a physical, mental , psychological and spiritual endeavor...and the road is never complete, not ever.
I continue to learn, digress, transgress and always place one foot before the other...
