Bio
My name is Sanyukta Malla, and two of my great passions in life are travel and photography. Photography is my favorite art form. Portraits, fashion, kids, animals, and landscapes inspire me the most; if I had to choose, I would say that children are probably my favorite subject--I love their delight and innocence.
My interest in photography began early in my childhood; I remember watching my brother-in-law, who was a great professional photographer, and being so impressed with his work. I am also inspired, of course, by the world's most famous photographers, such as Annie Leibovitz--she is a great storyteller.
I learned the tricks of the trade at Photo Manhattan, a school based in New York. What makes me unique is that I approach each event and each session with attention to detail, with honesty and with love. I put my heart and soul in to my work, and I believe that it shows in my work.
