Bio
After 27 years of homeschooling, I am now a retired homeschooling mother of five children (my youngest child graduated from our homeschool in 2023). While the primary reason for this blog’s creation was to enable me to "like" posts on my daughter’s travel blog, those who know me are aware that I like words. I talk a lot (to family, anyway). Back in the day, I liked to write editorials. I'll do my thinking-out-loud in the blog http://whatoftwasthought.wordpress.com/. When time permits, I enjoy making photo journals of places I have visited. The blog http://sappyasatree.wordpress.com/ is for commenting on the tangible world of real places and things. I live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, and I love to take pictures on our hikes (much to the chargin of my kids; my husband is more tolerant of picture-taking).
