Bio
Scott Wolfson started his career in 1996 as a broadcast journalist in Miami, working as an assignment editor at the local FOX affiliate, WSVN and, later, at the ABC affiliate, WPLG. Scott then emerged onto the network scene as a news photojournalist for CNN covering national and international news stories, such as the Elian Gonzalez saga, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the anthrax attacks, the Washington D.C. sniper shootings, as well as The Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) riots. Scott’s experience as a filmmaker and producer is vast, encompassing the diverse genres of news, corporate, sports, and reality television.
In 2004, Scott started his own production company, Scott Wolfson Films, an event cinematography company specializing in the cinematic style for the filming of weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and corporate and special events. Scott blends a mixture of photojournalism and documentary style filmmaking to create a true film like experience for his clients.
Scott’s goal is to capture timeless moments and events in a manner that creates a candid, reality rich vision, while at the same time reflecting spirited and genuine emotion. Scott strive to create a cinematic experience that will provide an invaluable and everlasting chronicle of your most important occasions, both personal and professional.
