Bio
I have 2 Master's Degrees in Psychology - 1 in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University & 1 in Clinical Psychology in Alliant International University (formerly California School of Professional Psychology - CSPP) and two classes, one intership and a dissertation short of a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University. I love music, and I can play the flute, the hammer-dulcmier, drums, and sing (but all at a very elementary level!). I love to dance. I love music from different cultures, places, and time periods throughout history. I love so much music. I only dislike country music, heavy metal music, rap music, zydeco music, and lots of pop songs of today that fit under the name "Rhythm and Blues". But, even under those headings, I like (or even love) one or two songs! My favorite musical group of all time is "Dead Can Dance." My all-time favorite C.D. is Peter Gabriel's soundtrack to the film, "The Last Temptation of Christ," titled, "Passion." I also love the real underground old 80's "New Wave" music, as well as the late 80's/early 90's "Idustrial" music. I also love "Techno" and "Dance" music that formed from two prior mentioned types of music, all of that stuff from the start (early 90's/late 80's) to the present day stuff. And, I love the "Ambient", "Trance", et. al. music that's so present in the Rave scene and on college late, late night radio stations around the country (U.S.). I am an amateur artist (haven't been paid for any of my art - yet!!!). I paint, draw, sew, and make lots of things (mainly interior decor and musical instruments). I want to pursue research in paranormal phenomenon (which I believe one day will not be considered "para-"normal!). I would like to apply my extensive experience in studying, teaching, and applying scientific research methods (both qualitative and quantitative) to further our understanding of "the paranormal," including such topics as: ufology (the study of U.F.O.'s); psychic mediumship; near-death experiences (N.D.E.'s); astral projection; the nature and origin of the universe; "sprituality" (as defined as a religion that integrates all world religions and acknowledges their similarities, cultural influences and relevance, each religion's saviors/prophets as all being legitimate physical embodiments of God on earth and avatars of their time, with equal relevance, holiness, and power); afterlife and beforelife (including attempts to prove their existence as well as understanding the nature of those existences and how they relate to an individual's ego identity); multi-universes; ghosts; other beings from other dimensions (their form, purposes, location in our space/time, etc.); preminitions and other psychic gifts; and many other related topics.
