Bio
I am a wife, mother of 3, sister, daughter, and Catholic school teacher who is very grateful for the many blessings God has bestowed on me. I am thankful for the simple pleasures in life like coffee, naps, and books.
I started this blog to build a faith filled, compassionate and supportive community for educators. I currently teach in a Catholic school, but I am a former public school teacher and I invite public, private, and other parochial school teachers to be a part of this community as well.
My blog mission statement: We, Catholic school teachers and children of God, are commissioned to teach His children, nurturing them in heart, soul, and mind. As Christians, we are called to do God’s will and God’s work at home and in our workplace. Teaching is a ministry but it is not our vocation. Whether your vocation is marriage, single life, or a religious order, the goal of this blog is to give you daily “perks” to affirm your calling, both within your family and your school, so you can sustain the energy to serve the Lord as an awesome Catholic school teacher and also serve Him as a loving, balanced, and healthy, wife, mother, sister, daughter, and parishioner.
Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have any questions or suggestions for my blog, including a teacher you would like featured for Friends Day Wednesday!
