Bio
With an MBA from Seattle University and advanced certifications for both weight training and Pilates, Sebastien Lagree opened his 1st SPX Fitness studio in September 2001. SPX Fitness quickly developed a following of celebrities and top athletes, and has expanded quickly worldwide.
In 2003, Sebastien started to work on his own equipment, the Proformer. The Proformer is more than a new and improved Reformer, it is an entirely new system capable of much much more. The Proformer is adaptable to all fitness level and body types. Since then, SPX Fitness has expanded to over 50 locations worldwide; there are currently over 20,000 registered members in Los Angeles alone. In 2008, Sebastien started to work on the Megaformer, a new and improved Proformer. The Megaformer's Patented Compound Pivot Bar offers many new and unique exercises that simply cannot be performed on any other type of exercises equipment on the market today. Sebastien is determined to make the best equipment possible. Sebastien's training method has expanded quickly through its partnership program.
It is very important to note that SPX Fitness is not Pilates; it is a Pilates based strength training program that blends the toning and sculpting benefits of strength training with the cardiovascular benefit of circuit training and the therapeutical benefits of Pilates. SPX Fitness is the next evolution in physical fitness.
Sebastien currently lives in Los Angeles. He has 2 beautifull children named Romain and Emmanuelle and his married to sexy playmate and soul mate Carrie Lagree.
Sebastien has been featured in many publications and on TV in the US and abroad.
