I used coupons in the past, but never really put a correlation of my savings until I lost my job. Once I figured out that I can get things for nearly nothing, this became an obsession for me. I started to keep a log of the items I got for free (or tax only items) and on average I save an estimated $123.00 per month, which does not include catalinas, rebates, gift cards (Target), Extra Bucks Rewards (CVS) or Register Rewards (Walgreens).
