Bio
Saahara Glaudé was born in New York City & raised in Washington, DC where she attended Sacred Heart Grade School & Academy - American & Georgetown Universities. She broadcast in DC - ATL, GA & Birmingham, AL. A member of the team that birthed WPFW Pacifica Radio Station in DC, she worked with Homeless Activist Mitch Snyder - served as a Community Affairs Director for The Kennedy Center/White House Salute & Voice Over announced. She taught Communications at Clark/Atlanta University overseeing the programming of WCLK Radio Station. Recruited by Dr. A.G. Gaston to broadcast on the historic WENN Radio - she later become the flagship talent and Community Affairs Director for two start-up Radio Stations. She then Anchored for the AL Associated Press & eventually formed Glaudé Productions - Media & PR service. She is a lover of the classics, particularly Jane Austen & can never get enough of the film The Godfather, Parts I & II (Novella) & is a long-time supporter of The International Justice Mission, St. Joseph's Indian School, Free The Slaves & Feed The Children. Saahara is currently Executive Producer/Publicist for Encore Artists Mgmt. in Atlanta GA - USA.
