Bio
Welcome folks .. thank you so much for visiting!
My name is Phillip S Hunter .. The S stands for Steven. I am a young sixty five year old divorced man who is now happily retired and thoroughly enjoys singing Karaoke as much as time allows. I am 6' 3" 189 Lbs of average build, hazel eyes, and brown hair. I have never been afraid of working long hours although now I do strive to eat more healthy foods than I did when I was a younger person.
I thought I would first give you a brief history of who I am. Shortly after I graduated from high school in 1966 I enlisted for a four year term in the USAF 1967-1971 as a Data Processing Operator/Supervisor. My chosen career field was frozen for my entire four year enlisted term. This means I could not go overseas even if I wanted to. So much for seeing the world.
This was during the Vietnam war era. I was stationed at Travis AFB just outside of Fairfield, California. This was a large Mac/Sac base which for those of you who are not familiar with the abbreviation, stands for Military Airlift Command and Strategic Airlift Command. I worked for the 60th Aerial Port Squadron Traffic Machine Room whose job was to keep an ongoing history of all the passengers and cargo entering and leaving the air force base as well as providing all printed manifests for the aircraft. I was honorably discharged after my four year term of service.
I remained enjoying various computer and network positions throughout my career until that horrible 9-11 tragedy took place. The exempt position I had at this time was a Distributed Computer Specialist for Cummins Inc. My whole department was obsoleted.
You know I always disliked the words obsoleted and terminated .. sounds so final.
In any case, I was forced to seek new employment elsewhere like many other good folks during this horrible period in the United States. You know, bad things happen to good people type of thing. No .. I am sorry to say .. it was not in the field I educated and trained myself for but I had to eat and pay bills like anyone else.
However, all and all, I have been basically, a Network/Desktop support Technician for eighteen years and now have retired in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and loving it. Throughout the years I have gained expertise in consulting, database design, web development, building computer systems, repairing computer systems, installing software and hardware.
I earned my Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems and graduated with honors with a 3.7 grade point average from Indiana Technical State College in Columbus, Indiana in 1994. In addition, I was employed by the college and maintained a Computer Lab Technician and a English department Work Study position while attending.
Now in 2013, I have decided to spread the love by starting my own online business.
My main mission on my websites will be to help as many folks as I can by providing them with free education and knowledge on different topics.
I also will be providing numerous informational videos, what I consider to be excellent content and the ability for visitors to download a free report in a PDF format simply by entering their first name and a valid E-mail address .
I am mainly doing this because I have been very disappointed in our government. I want to give folks a break. Lord knows it is about time. I mean trillions of dollars in debt. Really??? How did this happen???
I read once that each congress person receives a minimum salary of $174,000 a year. Hmm-mm I wonder who is paying for that? Could that be our tax dollars? Do you think they are doing their job? .. Me either!
I would like to encourage everyone of you good people to watch the movie Thrive. www.thrivemovement.com I think you will find this movie more than interesting. I know I did.
Please understand I am not promoting Thrive. com. That is I am not receiving a dime for this. I just believe every American citizen owes it to themselves to watch this movie and then you decide.
With the economy in trouble and very little decent jobs available. I am trying to give people a chance to reap some benefits without having to spend their hard earned money.
So again, thank you for visiting and by all means take advantage of what I have provided and enjoy your visit.
Spread the love, tell your family, friends, relatives and people you meet how you enjoyed your visit.
May God bless each and everyone of you. God bless America! Keep on keeping on! I know it's tough out there these days.
