Bio
My name is Shelby Johnston and I'm 22 years old. I live in the city now for college, but I was raised on a hobby farm you could say. The sounds of city life drive me crazy because I can't stand the constant sound of police sirens. Since this is a page about the author, which would be me, most of these sentences will start with "I" even though I detest starting several sentences in a row that way. I like vintage methods of writing: with an ink pen, calligraphy, type writer, and even coded messages, but most of all I love to write with my favorite purple pen in a quiet corner of some forgotten section of a library. Rainy and gray days are some of my favorite types of days, on the contrary, I also love bright blue skies on a green grassy horizon. Having lived on a farm, an still do in the summers and weekends, I love my horses and miss them dearly as well as my little kitten, Ethyl. Most days, when I'm home, I write in the barn, with the calming smell of cinnamon scented hay fueling my thoughts. Other than writing and riding my horses, I play the tenor saxophone. I have a new Pro Cannonball Tenor and love it to death. Playing music is my life and I love jamming with friends; as well as just hanging out.
