Bio
Sam Hey is a Lecturer at the Christian Heritage College - School of Ministries in Brisbane, Australia. He has taught Bible, history, sociology, leadership, research methods, spirituality and spiritual formation for over 30 years. Sam completed a PhD on the Australian megachurches at Griffith University where he explored the historical, social and spiritual origins, and their engagement with society. His findings have been published by Wipf and Stock in his book - Megachurches, Origins, ministry and prospects. He completed an M.A. in Theology (University of Queensland) examining hermeneutics and bible interpretation. He also has a Bachelor of Science and (Graduate) Diploma of Education (University of Tasmania) and has worked as a teacher, chaplain and pastor for many years.
