Bio
Kelsey Erin Shipman is a poet, performer and educator. She teaches creative writing to middle school students in South Austin, inmates at Travis County Jail, and undergraduates at Texas State University where she earned her MFA in Creative Writing. Her work has recently appeared in Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, The Austin Chronicle, and is forthcoming in The African American Review. A native Texan, she loves big dogs and breakfast tacos.
