Bio
Hello. I’m a Canadian expat and journalist based in the Caribbean and on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. These are a few of my favorite things: Creative cooking with my beau; baking bread (one day I’ll make the perfect loaf); parrots (and birds and avian art); meditative walking; hiking; snorkeling; fishing (I’m learning); the gym; history and true adventure books; growing peppers and herbs for artisanal hot sauces; and gathering with friends at the water’s edge to watch the sun set in appreciation of another day.
