Bio
My family and I live in Harrells, North Carolina, about 45 miles inland from Wilmington.
A retired minister, I teach religion courses at a community college.
Born (1948) and raised in South Africa. I have a wife, a son, a dog, and a cat.
Ellen (my wife) was born in West Virginia. She is a psychiatric nurse, so I'm in good hands.
Chris (our son) has a degree in accounting from UNC-W and is an avid surfer.
Ollie, our yellow lab, is the love of our lives, and Charley Brown, our cat, keeps us mouse-free.
I enjoy creating study guides to help students interact with a text, e.g. the Bible or a religious classic.
