Bio
My name is Sharon Fortner Wright. I am the daughter of Minnie and Goat Fortner. I was born and raised in Quitman County, Mississippi. I graduated Delta Academy in 1971. My grandparents, Myrtle and J.O. Fortner, came to Quitman County in 1930.
This website is dedicated to the memory of my cousin, Harry Russell Johnson, Jr., son of Virginia and Happy Johnson. When I told Harry Russell that I was starting to research my genealogy, he gave me two volumes of his research--free of charge.
