Bio
'm known as Ali, a freelance illustrator based in Liverpool City Centre. I graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, Media & Communications in 2014. Since then I have been working as a Graphic Designer for an eCommerce business.
My work is fuelled by current affairs and politics. I combine humour, irony and exaggeration to expose and criticise political and other topical issues. Biggest influences; investigative journalist John Pilger
I have completed a number of projects both commercial & independent. These include character illustrations, recipe book designs, CD cover designs, satire, selling my work at art fairs and poster design.
