Bio
Rachael Keri Williams is a mother of five, poet, avid researcher, can-do inventor, and serves as advisor to several technology startups in her hometown of Buffalo, NY. She is a trained craftsperson, journalist, farmer, social worker and wilderness expedition leader.
Fate found Rachael, in June 2021, trying to find her ancestors at Harrisburg’s Lincoln Cemetery...And she has been working to restore it, ever since.
As Descendant-Founder and Executive Director of SOAL: Saving Our Ancestors Legacy, she has managed all aspects of SOAL’s volunteer-based efforts: cemetery restoration, genealogical research, storytelling, and web/social media strategy and design.
Rachael continues to innovate and build new avenues for descendant, community , and digital partnerships to save our ancestors’ legacy through radical history reclamation.
