Bio
The Society of Mary is the oldest Marian Society in the Anglican Communion. It was constituted in 1931 as a union of the League of Our Lady (founded in 1902) and the Confraternity of Our Lady (founded in 1880 as the Confraternity of the Children of Mary). The Toronto based branch of the Society (Our Lady of Hope Ward) is an active ward which hosts monthly meetings, the May Festival, and other education and liturgical events throughout the year.
