Bio
Ingrid has over 20 years of experience as a Project Architect, designer, creating permit drawings, as well as running and managing a variety of complex projects from custom houses, renovations, additions and multi-residential housing to large (up to $12ML) community centres, museums, performing arts centres and commercial projects. Ingrid has a unique specialty in healthy, sustainable natural building systems including building with straw bale. She is the Vice President of the Ontario Natural Building Coalition (since 2009) and a Director-at-Large of the Green Connections Network. She founded soma earth to focus on sustainability & natural building, connecting the health of the body and environment to architecture in our everyday lives.
Also Certified Bioenergetic Therapist (CBT) and highly sensitive, intuitive empath, Ingrid can also read and sense body, building & earth energies. Ingrid has a private clinical practice that she began in 1995 as a life coach, body-oriented psychotherapist and energy worker. Her work as a somatic relational psychotherapist can be found at www.buildingsoul.com. She has a great skill working with group dynamics as well as a well developed understanding of the body/mind/spirit connection. She currently lives in Udora, Ontario, north east of the Greater Toronto Area.
