Recent convert to digital art. I'm practicing every day I can.
A decade ago (seriously? That long ago?) I challenged myself to draw every day for a year. And I did. I drew for more than 550 days intact.
I had to force myself to stop at the time. I needed a break.
But then I didn't really draw for quite some time after that.
When I finally want to start creating art again I found it difficult to carve out to time or maintain the focus needed as I was preoccupied with a new baby.
As that baby has grown I have started to find myself needing to define myself again and that path keeps leading back to my art and creative practices.
This blog is a place for me to share whatever I need to while I explore my art and what it's like to be vulnerable while trying to make a living off my illustrations.
