Bio
I'm a basketball guy. Began, I think, in sixth grade when the coach couldn't make the game. I, having scored 2/3rds of the team's points so far that season, took over. I benched the most popular player (bad hands). The other team left a player down court near their offensive hoop, knowing he couldn't defend anyone. I had a guy who couldn't score so I sent him down to guard their kid. They sent another kid; I did the same. We won 12-8. Things got a little more sophisticated when I coached at Harvard University from 1985-1991. We beat Pete Carril's Princeton teams four years in a row, but also lost to the Brown's and Columbia's when they weren't very good. When my boss, Pete Roby resigned, I didn't get the head job. Life went on and I started , an adult (recreational player) basketball business for men and women that, to great acclaim, runs weekend camps, weekly practice programs and a league or two in various desirable locations across the U.S.
