Bio
Stitch and Bitch London are a feisty but friendly London-based knitting group taking over the world one new knitter at a time.
We're an ultra-friendly group (despite the bitch part) of all ages and from all walks of life, who basically get together, knit, help each other out of sticky knitting situations and generally have a good laugh.
We have knitters from 16 years old to 600. We never turn a knitter or would-be knitter away. Any age, any stage - the more the merrier.
Our meetings happen all around London (mostly indoors, except when we are pretty sure it will be nice out), usually once a week in cafes, pubs or parks. There is no set day, but we always meet after 6 PM on weekdays. We are always close to a station too, so it's easy to get to a meeting where ever you are coming from and easy to get home after.
Weekly email newsletters let you know when and where we are, two weeks in advance, as well as letting you know what else the group is up to.
It's all free and we are quite a mixed bunch. Some beginners, some masters and a fair few in between. All you have to do is turn up at a meeting, sit down and knit. No other requirements at all. There is nothing to pay and no limits to who can join.
We also teach beginners for free if they turn up with some needles and yarn.
Join in and spread the word of the knit!
Learners: Bring yarn and needles. Masters: Bring your stitch advice.
