Bio
At times gravel grinding in Southeast Michigan is not easy due to the unpredictable weather. But we are a group of diehard bicyclists ranging in age from about 30 to almost 80, and we ride in all kinds of weather throughout the year.
Some of us have been riding for over 50 years, and then there are a few of us who have been riding for a little more than a year. But one thing is for sure, we all love to ride–both gravel grinding and trail riding. A few of the guys could be considered pioneers in gravel grinding due to the paved roads becoming very unfriendly to the biker back in the 80′s.
Within the back roads of Oakland, Lapeer and Macomb county there is plenty of scenery and many gravel and dirt roads with elevation gains and declines.
In addition to gravel grinding and trail riding, we also participate in organized cycling events and races as individuals and/or as a group.
