Bio

An experienced educator and student support professional with a natural ability to interact and engage with young people and international students through innovative ideas and genuine concern. I am passionate about the international student experience and am an advocate for better services and support. I have extensive experience in international education, student administration, support services, engagement, retention, communication, training needs assessment, training development, implementation and evaluation. I possess excellent customer service skills, a commitment to quality and improvement, and an interest in WH&S, I believe strongly in professional development, I have well developed and proven project management skills, leadership experience and an eye for detail. My analytical skills enable me to identify issues and find effective solutions through continuous quality improvement. I excel at service, systems and process development to improve customer and student experience. I am active in social media education communities and use these to support students online. I tweet for ISANA @ISANAnational and facilitate I have developed/delivered training and workshops in: English Language, Leadership, Negotiation Skills, WH&S, Food Safety, Customer Service, Time Management, Blogging, Social Media, Learning difficulties, Resume Writing and Interview skills. In 2015 I was presented with a recognition award from CISA (Council for International Students, Australia) for service to the Australian international student community.
